Finding quality sites regarding religious studies can be quite an ordeal.  Over the last few years, I have had the chance to come across some quality sites that can really help in doing either research on a religious subject, or just to learn about specific topics.  As I come across more, I will add them here as well.   Each link will open in a new window/tab.

Religious Forums: One of the best religious forums I have come across.  I am active in the discussions and debates there under the name fallingblood.  There are a lot of intelligent and helpful individuals there, and it is a great place to learn more about religion in general.

Early Christian Writings: A great source to read various books that were not accepted into the Biblical Canon as well as writings from other early Christians.

From Jesus to Christ (PBS): A great overview of the historical Jesus and the rise of Christianity.

The Bible’s Buried Secrets (PBS): An overview of the origins of the Hebrew Bible.

NT Gateway: A wonderful web directory of internet resources on the New Testament.

And for those interested, these are open courses via the internet on the Old and New Testaments.  They are free introductory courses provided by professors at Yale University:  Open Courses
